Description:
High-alloy stainless electrode of unusual versatility, providing a ferritic-austenitic duplex weld metal with a ferrite content of approximately FN 40. The weld metal is resistant to stress corrosion attack and highly insensitive to dilution by the molten base metal. Applications: joining of HWT steels, dissimilar steels, surface rails, rollers, forging dies, hot work tools, plastic dies, etc. Good resistance to fouling up to 1150 °C.
