Description:
The WEARSHIELD MI stick electrode is ideal for hardfacing carbon or low alloy steels that require a martensitic deposit with considerable retained austenite. Typical applications include conveyor screws, tractor grapples, excavator teeth, and logging equipment. Deposits tend to cross cracks and are usually best limited to two layers. It can be welded in all positions (except vertical down).
