Description:
A nickel-iron core electrode for joining normal grades of cast iron such as gray, ductile and malleable irons. It is also suitable for grinding and repairing these grades and for joining them to steel. Deposition is done on cold or slightly preheated cast iron. The electrode produces a weld metal that is stronger and more resistant to solidification cracks than the pure nickel electrode type. It is especially suitable for high-strength welding of ductile irons and for welding gray irons with higher sulfur and phosphorus contents.
